Vintage Valentino 1970's Black Wooden beads with Mother of Pearl, Natural stones and Black Silk Tassel Necklace
This is a gorgeous long necklace measuring 30 inches of wearable length.
The necklace features the Iconic Valentino oval cartouche clasp and has the original paper hang tag.
The necklace is comprised of sections of hand carved black wooden beads, some natural stone beads, look like cornelian agate, jade agate and quartz with mother of pearl spacers, culminating in a wonderful pair of silk tassels
The actual tassel part is 3 inches long
The tassels could be trimmed to have a little neater appearance if desired.
This necklace could be worn with some of the other Valentino pieces I have listed, check out the other listings.

Necklace has original paper hang tag and the Iconic Oval Valentino log clasp.
Very good size and very wearable.
Wear all three pieces or switch up and wear earrings with individual necklaces.
These would also layer well with some of the Valentino and Lanvin Shell necklaces I have available.
Please look carefully at photos.

New Old Stock so in Excellent Vintage condition,
It is stunning on. Lovely for dress up or casual wear, so very versatile and Classic Style.
All the Stations are in beautiful condition. Unbelievable to find these matching pieces.
These are from a Boutique I bought in Atlanta, I believe the owner kept these because they were Samples.
Many were on original velvet boards and the tags have the original wholesale prices and descriptions of what colors were available.
I purchased a large approximately 1000 piece collection.
I also was able to purchase over 50 pieces of Valentino and Lanvin New Old Stock as well with original tags.
Look for those listings in my shop, these pieces will go quickly as they are very rarely available.

Please see the photos.
This Set is very eye catching.

Please check my other listings for companion sets.

A little bit about Valentino according to Worthpoint

Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti founded the House of Valentino in 1960, according to the Valentino website. The acclaimed fashion house has designed both haute couture and ready-to-wear clothing collections in the ensuing decades, along with various accessories for both men and women.

Jewelry for Valentino was produced by several well-known European costume jewelry firms, including Coppola e Toppo, Hurel, and the Soriano sisters, according to “Costume Jewelry for Haute Couture” by Florence Muller. Many of those pieces were limited creations for runway wear. Jewelry collections accompanying ready-to-wear clothing lines were made as well, particularly in the 1980s and '90s. These are the types of pieces most often found by collectors today.

These pieces are all circa 1970, when Valentino was using the round cartouche and had just begun using the Oval with V logo design on jewelry.
