Fabulous UnSigned Reinad Brooch and Earrings ,
Brooch Measures measures 3.5 inches by 2.25 inches wide,
it is in Very good Vintage condition.
Some Minor surface scratches, consistent with age,
Overall finish is Very Good, very slight wear to the tip of the nose.
This was offered as a Fur Clip or a Brooch, this piece is a Brooch.
Reinad was also known as C hanel Novelty company for a few years until Haute C hanel forced them to return to using Reinad.
Reinad signed jewelry is fairly rare, this type of piece pops up once in a while.
This piece is also a Book Piece, appearing in 2 different books,
Roseanne Ettinger's Forties and Fifties Popular Jewelry, page 57
and Brunialti, American Costume Jewelry - Art and Industry (2008) Volume 1 page 83
This particular Figure of an Asian Princess was copied by several companies as it was highly desirable.

this was probably a knock off of a very fine well known Hattie Carnegie retro brooch. Read more here.
