Vintage Gold Rope Bolo Lariat Style Tassel Necklace Set with matching Earrings
This has a very Alice Caviness feel to it.
It is impossible to photograph how brilliant the gold on this really is.
It has a sparkle to it as the rope is a fine mesh, there is some wear,
photos do not do this piece justice, I have tried...
This is a gorgeous long necklace measuring 32 inches end to end
and 20-24 of wearable length.
The necklace is comprised of a fine mesh twisted rope ending with rhinestone embellished chain tassles
This necklace can be worn with or without the Bolo Type Slide,
I have styled it with the slide. Slide is 1.25 inches wide and matches earrings.
This can be worn with the slide pushed up for longer tassles and shorter choker type length for a more dramatic appearance
Ask me for styling tips.
It is the same type materials.
The earrings mimic the design of the bolo slide,
Prong set Siam Ruby rhinestones in a circular domed pattern,
earrings are in near mint condition
Earrings are clip on and measure 1.25 inches.
Signed Pat Pend
The rope portion of the necklace has a few spots that have very slight wear.
This slight wear does not affect the wearability or beauty of the bright gold necklace.
Unsigned Beauty, has some construction designs reminiscent of Alice Caviness
Please look carefully at photos.

A little bit about Valentino according to Worthpoint
Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti founded the House of Valentino in 1960, according to the Valentino website. The acclaimed fashion house has designed both haute couture and ready-to-wear clothing collections in the ensuing decades, along with various accessories for both men and women.
Jewelry for Valentino was produced by several well-known European costume jewelry firms, including Coppola e Toppo, Hurel, and the Soriano sisters, according to “Costume Jewelry for Haute Couture” by Florence Muller. Many of those pieces were limited creations for runway wear. Jewelry collections accompanying ready-to-wear clothing lines were made as well, particularly in the 1980s and '90s. These are the types of pieces most often found by collectors today.
These pieces are all circa 1970, when Valentino was using the round cartouche and had just begun using the Oval with V logo design on jewelry.
