Alexis Kirk Statement turquoise high dome cabochon necklace

, ....This Huge necklace is 30 inches long and has a 1.7 cabochon dangle. The "eggs" are 1.25 X 1.75. This necklace is is great vintage condition, very slight wear. It is in amazing condition as you can see from the photos. Please look carefully at all of these as they tell he story of its beauty. I have not been able to find anything like this made by Alexis Kirk so its possibly a very small run piece or runway piece as it came from a dealer who specialized in high end estates.

Alexis Kirk is a well-known contemporary designer of women's costume jewelry and accessories who utilized high-end composition and craftsmanship incorporating the highest quality materials often with huge or vibrant stones in different sizes and a dazzling array of colors and a variety of materials. These cabochons are resin I am sure. His popularity as a costume jewelry and accessory designer is thought to have peaked in the early 1970's. Alexis Kirk's costume jewelry was sold through exclusive retail outlets and is highly prized by collectors and is highly collectible.
